One of the more disturbing aspects about the human being is its ability to look away, turn the blind eye, and feign ignorance.

Child labour is not a new phenomenon. Since before stoneage children have always had to chip in and help support the family at a very early age. But there is a vast difference between helping out, and working for a minimal wage for endless hours at a monotone task. 6 days a week. One would suppose that in our time of supercomputers, space travel and genetic discoveries, child labour would be a memory from the past. The sad fact is that as more and more corporations move their production to developing countries, the higher the number of employed youngsters. Get engaged.
